Thank you for your purchase of office furniture. This policy is given to you to read before GSF delivers the furniture so that you are aware of GSF’s standing. This policy has been designed to assist in the smooth trouble-free installation of your furniture.
This statement applies to all new construction projects as well as office furniture space being refreshed. Purchaser agrees that GSF will not deliver the furniture before all construction is completely finshed. This means all carpet, baseboards, and clean-up crews must be finished before GSF delivers and installs. GSF will not install the furniture while any contractors, including computer and phone system contractors are still working in the delivery and installation area.
Purchaser agrees that the room or area being delivered to must be ready for installation with nothing else in the way, such as other furniture, computers or phones in the delivery area.
All doorways and hallways must be at least 31″ wide at the narrowest inside point. If your doorways or hallways are smaller than this, special arrangements will have to be made beforehand and GSF must be notified of this at least two days before the delivery date or else there will be a $250 service charge.
GSF does not move your existing furniture or belongings, unless it is by prior arrangement and applicable fees are paid for such. Purchaser agrees to arrange to move any old furniture out of the room before GSF arrives; nor will GSF plug in, or install computers, phones, or other office machines.
Purchaser agrees to leave phone cords, and flat-plug power strips and any other cords such as data port cords they may need in the walls so GSF can run the cords under the new furniture. This will allow GSF to get the furniture as close to the walls as possible and prevent the purchaser from having to move it later to plug things in.
Purchaser agrees that all sales are final, defective merchandise will be repaired or replaced upon inspection and approval of GSF.
